Player

Wren's player is built for hands-free listening.

Playback

• Play, pause, and scrub from the in-app player.
• Skip forward and back to move within an episode.
• Adjust speed to listen faster or slower.

Lock screen and CarPlay

Episodes play on the lock screen and in CarPlay, with title and artwork, so you can listen and control playback without unlocking your phone.

AirPlay and headphones

Send audio to AirPlay speakers or any connected headphones. Standard headphone and steering-wheel controls work as you'd expect.

Offline

Your 9 most recent episodes download automatically, so they play instantly and keep working when you lose signal. As newer episodes arrive, the oldest downloads drop off to make room. Manage or clear downloads in Settings → Manage downloads.

Picking up where you left off

Wren remembers your place in each episode and resumes from there the next time you press play.
